EMAIL: Nik I used to own a ticket Agency in Gardena, California called Caffey Entertainment. My business was doing quite well, and I was in the process of opening a sporting retail store, in addition to the ticket business. I was also in the process of promoting a concert. I was introduced to this woman named Vaso Shinas in 2005, and was told she was well taken care of. Vaso called my business and asked if I could provide her with courtside seats to the Lakers and Clippers games. So I did. I would always meet her at the Staples Center with the tickets, and she would always arrive in a limo. This went on till the following year and then in January 2006, I started receiving charge back letters from American Express (meaning the card holder was refusing the charges being made with the credit card when the bill arrived). When I got the charge back letter, it said the card belonged to NBA Player Paul Pierce. I called Vaso and she explained that she was Paul’s girlfriend and this was all a big misunderstanding and he was going to pay the bill. She later flew to Boston to discuss the charges with him, but still nothing happened. The bill was not paid, totalling over $95,000.00. So in March, I filed a police report with the Gardena Police Department. Please note: Paul Pierce never filed a police report about Vaso using his card, and apparently this wasn’t the first time she used it. She used it in the past at other companies.. In fact, Detective Salb left over 10 messages for Paul, but he never returned the call. The police department had called the NBA Commissioner’s office, and they instructed Paul Pierce to call Detective Salb. And these are the lies he told……….

I’ve read this story being rehashed seemingly every six months on a MB (where groupies, like Vaso, go and tell their tales), it’s nothing new. The emailer is probably a member of said MB.
She’s a p.o.s. and so are the guys who threw money at her and got a free ride on the back of the business owner they destroyed. This is a fairly common ghetto scam where one person gives another their card and then card holder denies the charges, nothing new here. I hope it happens to you more often. You should be back charged for every time you have sold a ticket for double the face value or more. Assholes like you are the reason many fans are unable to afford to see their favorite teams, bands, etc.
