Nik, I know you support the troops brother, so I will say this. Going to SUFFER School as we call it (aka Ranger School) and going through the Q to get your Long Tab, than going onto your 18 series school (18D,medic, is an addition 2 years minimum) and then bust your ass to get onto an ODA, then deploying into some sh*thole and doing the most dangerous things you could ever imagine makes us a little sensitive to people using “Special Forces” as some type of lighthearted reference to who they are. At the last Robin S*ge (basically our “test” at the end of the Q-Course for Special Forces Graduation) we learned that out of the last 5 classes of candidates, only 19% of those who started graduated. 81% attrition rate. They call it SPECIAL Forces for a reason. Your the man keep up the good work.
I don’t think he meant that to be, nor anyone reads it to be, disrespectful. Seems more like he was honoring the elite of our military by using that term to describe the eilte of the DA. Just my thougths.

. Just a like Quiet Professional joke we like to use on the SEALs (and yes I am joking, SEALs are warriors, and have served on task forces with them I am partial to Team 10 guys bc we got to CSAR a rather famous one

People in the military please shut-up. You chose to join the military cause you didn’t wanna go to college. It’s a profesion that is meaningless. You don’t “protect” are freedom cause we can still get attacked anyway. Stop being so sensitive. Military people were to lazy to go to college and complain about people using “special forces”??? When I enlisted it was after I graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Every single 18 series guy in my ODA had a college degree except one. Furthermore you would NEVER, EVER say any of this to my face bc you are a liberal pu*sy.

They went military first & didn’t learn anything. Actually they learned how to be an idiot. I have 3 cousins who joined the military out of high school. All 3 are very clueless on quite a few things. Things they easily could have learned in college. Sorry buddy but the military means nothing to me. I have more respect for a circle k cashier. At least they do something productive. with their lives. Not sitting in a ditch for hours to protect us from…. not sure.

Be thankful for the police, both of you morons. The police are the ONLY thing in society that protects you from becoming my victim bc if I wanted to take anything and everything from you I could and you would be able to do NOTHING about it. The only thing that keeps a democratic society from going into complete chaos is not laws, but the implementation of laws. This is how I know you’re lying about the “we” bit. You go through m.o.s BEFORE you get the long tab. Also, ranger school is NOT a pre-req for being SF. You should kbow that. Which group are you in.
Woww what are you talking about? Reread what I wrote. I am not sure if you are a QP, or not but during the Q, you receive MOS training for your Special Forces MOS. This phase is 15 weeks long and includes additional language training, SF Common tasks, A (ASOT), and Interagency Operations. Once you graduate from SAGE, if you are an 18D such as myself you go to NUMEROUS schools that I will not mention. The majority of 18D I mentioned take an additional year/two AFTER the Q to be completely qualified. As far as Ranger school, as you should know also, if your for whatever reason do something really stupid guess where you get sent? 90%+ of QP are Ranger qualified, you should know that. I NEVER said it was a pre-req. Now a days if you are an x-ray (18x contract) you have a minimum year wait just to go to SFAS. So you can either go slum it with the 82nd or you can apply for a slot in Ranger school, guess what most guys do? I was in 7th group. Are you are QP?
