That’s not how it actually happened people. This girl got pissed because she came onto him and he didn’t want any. To get back at him she faked a rape and got tested at the hospital. They proved she was never raped. She had already had psychological problems so the incident of her failed attempt to put this guy to shame led to her final suicide attempt. He never did anything to hurt that girl she was just messed up in the mind and didn’t know how to handle her own problems correctly. Don’t hate on him for her stupid decisions

Made no mention of the kid. He should have been fired, but ND is in Vatican mode and will circle the wagons and will win games against Army to make the alums and fans forget how they murdered this poor videographer. Sad about the young lady, but what is the issue here? An allegation is just that, an allegation. From here on out, it is over, with the young lady dead, by her own hand, there is no case. I went to school with Lizzy my freshman year before she transferred. Yes, she battled depression but no one ever thought she’d do this. She would never make up such an allegation as this. I’m not God, nor are you, so passing judgement on this case when you don’t know if it did or didn’t happen is stupid. This poor girl was battling depression before the incident, and unless you can sit there and tell me no girl has EVER filed a fake report, then I would not pass judgement. For the time being you have to take the Notre Dame side of the incident. They ran off other players for far less than rape. The starting point guard was suspended for an entire season for having one marijuana joint.

what do you expect from a coach who was responsible for a student’s death himself. a student videographer was killed about a month ago when the coach sent him up into a tower to film practice on a really windy day(40 mph+ winds). every other university coach within 300 miles kept their students safe. not brian kelly. and what did we get from him. nothing. not a missed game. not a firing. not manslaughter charges. but you expect him to suspend a player for rape. seems mild compared to manslaughter

The RUDY story was a lie.
Notre Dame promoted that lie when they let the movie be made in their stadium.
Notre Dame does not have the conscience it promotes itself to have.

I’m a student at SMC, I can’t believe someone put this story on this site. Not because it isn’t true, but because now a bunch of idiots can talk crap about a girl they know nothing about and try to judge her. She was a victim, and now people are throwing her under a bus. Th ebottom line here is that a university cannot cover up a serious crime from the actual authorities. She was medically proven as not raped and she DID try to kill herself in high school. she was a disturbed girl and she didnt tell the truth. these are the facts. this is just like the canadian girl that killed herself a few weeks back cause she was bullied for being a slut. you reap what you sew and hes not in any trouble so what does that say? stop feeling sorry for suicides because your pity isnt going to spring her out of hell……whicj is exactly where she is as a suicide.
