The uniformed swine SHOULD have waited for backup, instead he kicked him in the face, while the man was clearly vulnerable. Waiting for backup, is the protocol, otherwise, you have to be in immediate danger. Since he was on the ground pleading, coughing and struggling to see, I doubt the kick in the chest face neck region, will be ruled procedurally valid. And if it was? Actually no. When I was arrested the first, and only *so far* time, I just sat and cooperated. The cop was the asshole crazy person who threatened to “drag me to the squad car if I didn’t walk” Even his partner gave him the side-eye. To this day when I see him, he cannot look me in the eye. I’ve since left that county thankfully.
I don’t get why people act up when arrested, you only catch more charges for that. It goes a LONG way (especially with the jail deps) to just cooperate. One of the deputies slid a phone into my cell for the entire night and next day after my booking. I literally was the only one who came in that night and just did what they asked. I know they’ll tase, shoot, kick, beat ya with a maglite if you don’t.

This guy had committed a crime and was being arrested for it but instead of following the police instructions he decided to keep it real and accumulate 2 more charges. Sorry man, may get a couple grand. That’s it. I know the city’s legal department and have worked with them on similar cases. $5K to $10K TOPS if he hires an attorney. Attorney takes 1/3. And he won’t get it for a few years.
