THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I am pretty disturbed when I watched the Ravens defeat the Colts in Baltimore. The celebration of Ray Lewis was disgusting to watch. He got away with murdering 2 people in Atlanta in 2000… And only got a year probation and a fine levied by the NFL of $250,000. He did have to settle with the families of the murdered men. Ray Lewis was found not guilty. If you have a problem with that, your issue lies with the justice system responsible for prosecuting him, not the NFL. The NFL celebrates an amazing athlete that has contributed much to the game, and left the question of his guilt to the courts, who answered in the negative.

Ray was wearing a white suit the night of the murder. The suit was supposedly dumped right after the murder happened at a fast food restaurant and still has never been found to this day. I wonder why a white suit that Ray was wearing, the night someone was murdered, with most likely blood stains was never found after a stabbing??? Weeeeeird coincidence.

First off, the killings took place in Bankhead. A VERY rough part in ATL. They’re many killings that NFL players did and are still serving their time because they were found guilty. This happened like 13 years ago. Ray Lewis was a the bystander that witnessed the fight. The knife that was purchased and used wasn’t by Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis was actually the one that was being the peacemaker and trying to stop the fight. There are MANY NFL players that are still serving time for manslaughter and the reason being was because they were found guilty by the jury. Some of you motherf*ckers are a class act. You want to break someone down just because you’re mad that your team lost by a team you don’t like. GET OVER IT! The head coach of the Colts is good friends with Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis is one of the captains on that team and if he was this horrible person he would of commited the same act and wouldn’t be a positive influence to many young boys. So please stfu get your facts straight and stop being a sour loser. Also–Brady doesn’t stand a chance. My bet is on Flacco or, Manning.

And Ray was never found innocent. His very good and smart lawyers plea bargained to keep him out of jail.

The mere fact that a conversation took place in his limo about what everyone should do to cover it up makes it obvious that him and his boys did it. I hope he at least feels guilty for this, but he probably doesn’t because violence and killings like this are the norm in these rough (black) neighborhoods. Stop snitchin? He was charged with and tried for obstruction of justice because he gave a misleading statement to police on the morning of the incident. The people he was hanging out with and committed these crimes he had know for less than a few days. OP, the ONLY reason Ray Lewis was arrested was because of who he was. The only reason the families went after him in court was because of what he has… $$$. It’s a terrible thing that people have to resort to murder to solve arguments. It is. But it’s also terrible that some people piece together bullshit stories (like the one you have) based on things you heard someone say, or read somewhere, or learned about through some other gossip laden channel. Ray Lewis is a good man (So is Michael Vick for that matter). You should THINK before you write or speak.
